Meike Nienkötter M.A.

Since 2018, Meike Nienkötter has been working as a research assistant at the University of Münster and has been involved in various vocational education projects. Her research foci are, amongst others, company career orientation. With this specialisation, she provides an important perspective on career guidance at schools and their networks.

“We are currently experiencing major changes in the world of work and the students’ requirements are also changing – schools can help to bring both sides together more effectively.”

Ina Richter M.A.

Ina Richter has been conducting research on the role of schools in career guidance since 2023. As a social worker/social pedagogue she has previously been active in different projects such as career entry counselling. This has given her knowledge of career guidance at schools in cooperation with network partners, extracurricular support options and an insight into the needs of pupils.

“As many students, even in their final year, still don't know what career path they want to take, I believe it is essential to further expand career guidance at schools.”

Jerusha Klein M.A.

Jerusha Klein has been conducting research on the topic of career guidance for several years –  since 2022 as a research assistant at the University of Münster and previously as a research assistant at the TU Berlin. Her interests include career guidance as a school development task as well as individual and institutional factors of vocational development.

“The organisation of career guidance should always be consider with a view to the single, individual schools, taking into account individual school resources and conditions. We can only provide young people with targeted support if we do justice to the individuality of the schools.”
