News from the DIGIBO Best! project - Successful vocational orientation workshops continue
The third round of workshops has started: As part of the DIGIBO Best! project, further workshops have taken place on the topic of professional orientation. As in the second round of workshops, these workshops focus on specific sub-topics that are of great importance to the participating schools: These include parental cooperation, cooperation with companies, the BO concept, the involvement of the teaching staff in vocational orientation and the evaluation of existing measures.

A new highlight of the current round of workshops is the bringing together of our schools participating in DIGIBO Best! In other words, we are bringing two schools together to focus on one topic so that they can exchange ideas on specific topics and benefit from each other. We also use this opportunity to test our materials and take on board ideas from the field. In this way, we are fulfilling our long-term goal of providing materials that schools can benefit from in practice. A number of schools have already taken part in these workshops in recent weeks, which has facilitated a valuable exchange between them.
Participants have been able to share their experiences and best practices, which is seen as a great added value. This cross-school collaboration has enabled new ideas and approaches to be developed.
The workshops not only offer a platform for exchange, but also the opportunity to develop concrete strategies, e.g. to strengthen cooperation with parents and actively involve the teaching staff in career guidance. In addition, the importance of a well-founded evaluation became apparent in order to continuously review and adapt the effectiveness of the measures.
We are delighted with the positive feedback from the participants and look forward to integrating the results of these workshops into the next steps of the project.
