DIGIBO Best! at the BWP Annual Conference 2025 in Darmstadt
From 24 to 26 September 2025, the team behind the DIGIBO Best! project at the University of Münster took part in the annual conference of the Vocational and Business Education Section (BWP) of the German Society for Educational Sciences in Darmstadt.

The five-member team – Prof. Katja Driesel-Lange, Jerusha Klein, Ina Richter, Meike Nienkötter and Stephan Häming – gave a presentation on the topic:
‘Cross-cutting task of career guidance: Teachers between wanting and not being able to’.
The focus was on the results of a staff survey conducted in collaboration with our partner schools. The findings provide exciting insights into teachers' attitudes towards career guidance and show where support opportunities lie.
The presentation met with great interest among the audience. In the ensuing discussion, there was a lively debate about the role of teachers, structural challenges and possible solutions.
Feedback from the section participants made it clear that the topic is highly relevant both scientifically and in school practice and offers important starting points for further research.
